Raoul: Good afternoon, Frank. Thank you for taking the time to talk with me today.
Frank Reynolds: No problem. Happy to be here.
Raoul: Let's start with your character on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. How do you see Frank Reynolds?
Frank Reynolds: Well, I see myself as a bit of a wild card, you know? I'm always up for a good time, and I'm not afraid to do whatever it takes to get what I want. Some people might call me a little crazy, but I like to think of myself as a free spirit.
Raoul: You certainly have some memorable moments on the show. What's been your favorite episode or scene to film?
Frank Reynolds: Oh, there's been so many. But I think one of my favorites was when we all got stranded on the cruise ship. That was a wild ride. I also loved the episode where I had to go undercover as a janitor at the high school. That was a lot of fun.
Raoul: Your character is known for his unorthodox business ventures. If you could start any kind of business, what would it be?
Frank Reynolds: Oh, I've got plenty of ideas. But if I had to pick just one, I think I'd start a chain of all-night diners. People are always looking for a good place to eat at any hour of the day, and I think I could really make that work.
Raoul: You've been in the entertainment industry for a long time. What advice would you give to someone just starting out in acting?
Frank Reynolds: My advice? Don't take yourself too seriously. Acting is a tough business, but it's also a lot of fun. You've got to be willing to take risks and try new things, even if they seem a little crazy. And most importantly, you've got to have a thick skin. Not everyone is going to like what you do, but you can't let that get you down.and hanging out with friends, right?
Raoul: That's true. Speaking of your business ventures, you've had quite a colorful career. Can you tell us about some of your most successful ventures?
Frank Reynolds: Oh, where do I even begin? I've been involved in everything from sweatshops to animal testing. But I think my most successful venture was the Reynolds Aluminum Company. I made a fortune off of that one.
Raoul: That's impressive. On a more personal note, you have a complicated relationship with your family, especially your son Dennis. How would you describe your relationship with him?
Frank Reynolds: Complicated is definitely one way to describe it. Dennis and I have had our ups and downs, but at the end of the day, he's my son and I love him. I may not always agree with his choices, but I'll always be there for him when he needs me.
Raoul: That's very admirable. Switching gears a bit, you've been involved in some pretty wild schemes with the gang over the years. Is there one that stands out as your favorite?
Frank Reynolds: Oh, there are so many. But I think my favorite has to be the time we pretended to be terrorists to get on a plane. That was a real rush.
Raoul: That was definitely a wild one. Finally, what can we expect from you and the gang in the future?
Frank Reynolds: Well, we're always up to something, that's for sure. But right now, we're just focused on keeping Paddy's Pub up and running. And who knows, maybe we'll come up with some new schemes along the way.
Raoul: I have no doubt about that. Thanks for taking the time to talk with us today, Frank.
Frank Reynolds: Anytime, it was a pleasure.
Raoul: Good afternoon, Frank. It's great to have you here with us today.
Frank Reynolds: Hey, it's good to be here. Always happy to chat with the media.
Raoul: Let's start with your background. How did you become involved with the gang at Paddy's Pub?
Frank Reynolds: Well, I've known Charlie since he was a kid. His mom and I used to date, if you know what I mean. Anyway, when he and his friends started up the bar, I saw an opportunity to make some money and have a good time. So I invested and became a partner.
Raoul: How would you describe your role in the gang?
Frank Reynolds: I like to think of myself as the mastermind behind a lot of our schemes. I'm the one who comes up with the big ideas and makes things happen. Plus, I provide the funding for a lot of our ventures. And of course, I'm always down for a good time.
Raoul: You've been involved in some pretty wild schemes over the years. What's been your favorite one to date?
Frank Reynolds: Oh, there have been so many good ones. But I think my favorite was when we tried to start our own sweatshop. We had all these kids working for us and we were making a fortune. It was genius. Of course, it didn't work out in the end, but it was a hell of a ride.
Raoul: Some people might find your behavior and views on various topics to be offensive. How do you respond to that criticism?
Frank Reynolds: Look, I'm just being honest. I'm not afraid to say what's on my mind, and sometimes that rubs people the wrong way. But I don't care. I'm not here to please everyone. I'm just living my life the way I want to live it.
Raoul: You've had some pretty outrageous moments on the show, like when you got stuck in a coil. What was going through your mind during those moments?
Frank Reynolds: Honestly, I was just trying to survive. When you're in a situation like that, you have to think fast and figure out a way to get out of it. And of course, I was hoping the cameras were rolling so we could use it for the show.
Raoul: What's next for you and the gang at Paddy's Pub?
Frank Reynolds: Oh, we've got a lot of big plans in the works. We're always looking for the next big thing, you know? But for now, we're just focused on keeping the bar up and running and having a good time. Who knows what the future holds? Anything is possible with us.
Raoul: Thanks for talking with us today, Frank.
Frank Reynolds: No problem. See you around.
